Job Summary
Sales Manager GTA (Greater Toronto Area) is responsible for driving sales growth in the region by developing and executing strategic sales plans, expanding market share, and managing key client and partner relationships. This role requires strong experience in prospecting and closing opportunities, deep knowledge of architectural lighting, and proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Market Research towards existing and prospect specifiers (architects, interior designers, landscape designers, engineers, project developers...), i.e. building a database of potential leads to projects via magazines, internet, media, fairs, events, Public Relations,…
- Prospect heavily to capture new opportunities and expand vertical markets.
- Promote the Delta Light brand and the product range by regular visits in office or on the construction site of prospects;
- Build, manage, and develop relationships with key clients, distributors, specifiers, and partners.
- Actively participate in the design phase to influence specifications and secure projects.
- Oversee opportunities from design through procurement, delivery, and installation to maximize customer satisfaction and reduce claims.
- Ensure customers and partners are trained and informed about product offerings, new launches, and marketing tools.
- Strategize and execute proactive follow-ups on all project opportunities until closure.
- Exceed customer expectations and contribute to long‑term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with marketing on regional promotions and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights.
- Manage CRM data to ensure accuracy; prepare forecasts, budgets, and detailed sales reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design and/or Interior Architecture and/or Lighting and/or Marketing and/or Business or related field.
- 5+ years of sales or project management experience, ideally in architectural lighting or related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet/exceed targets.
- Strong drive, communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office; willingness to travel regionally.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Professional office environment with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities. Moderate travel required, including overnight stays. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in varying environments. Must be located in the Greater Toronto Area.
Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 CAD
