Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete crew members, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
- Assist with the preparation of work sites, including setting up forms, pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces.
- Operate and maintain concrete construction equipment and tools.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior crew members to develop their skills and expertise in concrete construction.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor quality control and ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Required
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction, with a focus on municipal projects. - Required Technical
Skills:
Basic aptitude for using applications. Must be tech-savvy with the ability to use Build2 Win, Site Docs and other programs. - Travel Requirements: 5%
- Additional Requirements: Robust leadership abilities and the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in concrete forming, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of concrete curing methods and surface treatments.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
