Public Works Water​/Sewer Labourer Position

Earn experience with the City of Prince Albert as a Public Works Water and Sewer Labourer. This seasonal role is key to the ongoing maintenance and repair of vital water and sewer systems.

As a Water/Sewer Labourer, your responsibilities will revolve around the construction and upkeep of water distribution and wastewater collection frameworks. To qualify, candidates need Grade 12 education and a Driver's License. The role also necessitates obtaining Class I Certification and other operational certifications within six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in diverse construction and maintenance tasks

• Operate thawing and freezing equipment for systems

• Carry out flushing and cleaning of collection systems

• Assist in street isolation during relevant operations

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance services

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 with a valid Driver's License

• Ability to pass necessary certifications in the first 6 months

• Proficiency in public relations and teamwork

• Experience with concrete handling

• Strong attention to detail and readiness to learn
