Operations Technician

Position: Operations Technician at SaskEnergy
Join Sask Energy as an Operations Technician, where you will oversee installation and maintenance of gas systems. Work full-time in a safety-sensitive role that demands quick decisions during emergencies.

As a key player in our gas distribution team, this full-time role requires a Journeyperson Plumbing Certificate and a gas fitter's license. Your tasks will include maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service to ensure high safety standards. With three years of experience in the natural gas industry, you will manage equipment maintenance while responding to emergencies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on gas system facilities

• Locate and maintain gas distribution systems

• Troubleshoot and monitor safety systems

• Read facility maps and interpret drawings

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Journeyperson Plumbing Certificate

• Gas fitter's license (general or domestic)

• Three years of relevant industry experience
