Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for experienced, highly efficient, and self‑directed Staffing Clerks. There are a variety of positions available including permanent and temporary full‑time positions. Applications will be reviewed weekly and successful candidates will be contacted by a Staffing Coordinator for next steps.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Coordinator of Staffing Services, the incumbent works closely with unit managers to provide a high level of staffing services to meet short‑ and long‑term scheduling needs. Using a computerized scheduling system, the clerk performs related staffing functions following standard staffing guidelines.
Shift Rotation/Hours of workHours of work will vary by position and may include Monday to Friday 07:00‑15:00 or 08:00‑16:00, or other schedules based on the position. Details about hours and schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.
Qualifications- Grade 12.
- Three (3) years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Ability to type at 40 wpm.
