Location: Burns Lake
Become the Executive Assistant for Nee Tahi Buhn First Nation in beautiful Burns Lake, British Columbia. This role is key in facilitating smooth operations and community engagement through effective administration.
As a full-time member of the team, you will support the General Manager and Chief and Council by managing schedules, preparing meeting logistics, and maintaining organized records. Your attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities will be vital for delivering exceptional service to both members and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee calendars and coordinate leadership travel plans
• Organize meetings and prepare necessary documentation
• Draft, proofread, and edit various communications
• Handle inquiries with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
• Assist in HR and finance administrative functions
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of relevant administrative experience
• Familiarity with Indigenous communities valued
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to manage confidential information
Support Indigenous governance and play a crucial role in the community development at Nee Tahi Buhn.
