Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for experienced, highly efficient, and self‑directed Staffing Clerks. There are a variety of positions available including permanent and temporary full‑time positions. Applications will be reviewed weekly and successful candidates will be contacted by a Staffing Coordinator for next steps.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Coordinator of Staffing Services, the incumbent works closely with unit managers to provide a high level of staffing services to meet short‑ and long‑term scheduling needs. Using a computerized scheduling system, the clerk performs related staffing functions following standard staffing guidelines.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work
Hours of work will vary by position and may include Monday to Friday 07:00‑15:00 or 08:00‑16:00, or other schedules based on the position. Details about hours and schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.
Qualifications
Grade 12.
Three (3) years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Ability to type at 40 wpm.
