About this role  We are recruiting for a Receptionist to join our office in Prince George, BC.
This role is responsible for maintaining a professional, welcoming, and well‑organized front desk while providing administrative support to the team. The Receptionist plays a key role in shaping the daily experience of employees, clients, and business partners through consistent professionalism and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys a diverse range of responsibilities, and demonstrates a sustained interest in reception as a profession.
Responsibilities   Serve as the primary point of contact by answering phones, directing calls appropriately, taking accurate messages, and welcoming and directing visitors in a professional manner.
Manage the main reception email inbox with professionalism and discretion, responding to general inquiries from customers and employees by phone, email, or in person.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception environment, including the front desk, guest lounge areas, and meeting rooms.
Provide consistent, high quality administrative support for reception and office operations, including ordering and maintaining office supplies, receiving and sorting mail, and coordinating courier deliveries.
Schedule appointments and manage reception related calendars to ensure smooth daily office operations.
Experience and Skills   High School Diploma.
2 or more years in a similar Reception or administrative support role in an office environment.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Demonstrated team player and enthusiasm for contributing to a positive team culture.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Professional, friendly and outgoing demeanor.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to perform well under pressure and time constraints – can multi‑task well.
Valid BC driver's license and access to vehicle required.

Salary Range  $50,000 - $60,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
