Job Summary
The Team: The team at Front Counter BC in Prince George is known for being approachable, knowledgeable, and service focused, supporting clients through a wide range of provincial permits and authorizations . They work collaboratively to guide individuals, businesses, and communities through often complex natural resource and land use processes, making information clear and accessible. With a strong commitment to customer service, the team plays an important role in connecting people with government programs while helping move projects forward efficiently and responsibly.
The Role:
The Office Services Supervisor is a key operational leader who keeps the office running smoothly by overseeing administration, finance, HR, and support services. They guide staff, manage resources, and streamline processes to ensure efficient, compliant, and client-focused service delivery. Through strong coordination and problem-solving, they help balance priorities and support both front-line operations and program success.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Diploma and six (6) months of related experience; OR,
Certificate or coursework and one (1) year of related experience; OR,
Secondary School graduation (GED) and two (2) years of related experience; OR,
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related Experience may include:
Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
Experience leading others.
Proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preference may be given to those with one (1) or more of the following:
experience leading administrative and/or financial support staff;
a combination of three (3) years of related experience, education and/or training (e.g. clerical or administrative support); and/or,
experience with natural resource applications.

About this Position:
There is currently one (1) permanent, full time position available in Prince George.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in Prince George.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
