Introduction
We are seeking a Service Center Administrator to join our Canada Repairs Service Operations team
. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end administrative and operational processes of repair orders—from quotation through billing—using SAP and the Repairs Management Solution (RMS). Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient workflows, accurate financial management, and high-quality customer service, positively impacting the performance and profitability of the repairs business. In this position, you will report to the Service Center Manager.
This position is mainly located in Canada, with hybrid working options available.
Team you belong toYou will join a team of service operations, repairs, and aftermarket professionals who are dedicated to delivering safe, efficient, and profitable repair services across Canada. The team is passionate about operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement within the service organization.
We are currently working on optimizing repairs workflows, improving financial and operational reporting, and supporting the rollout of new tools and initiatives across the service organization.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Product Line teams, Project Managers, technicians, and external service providers. Our team culture is focused on collaboration, accountability, accuracy, and customer focus. Team members are located across multiple service locations in Canada.
What you’ll do- Manage repair-related activities in SAP and RMS, including quotations, notifications, sales orders, service orders, and work orders.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry throughout the repair lifecycle, from order creation to closure and invoicing.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, supporting smooth and accurate period-end activities.
- Collect final costs, analyze margins, monitor financial KPIs, and support accounts receivable activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely and aligned execution.
- Generate and manage internal and external service purchase orders, including PPE and consumables.
- Support day-to-day repair operations, including coordination of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Support the implementation of new tools and initiatives, providing guidance and training on SAP and RMS as required.
- You have at least five years of experience in service administration, repairs, field service, or logistics environments.
- You bring strong financial and analytical skills, including cost tracking, margin analysis, and KPI monitoring.
- You are highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications; experience with Salesforce is required.
- You demonstrate a strong customer service mindset and problem-solving capability.
- You thrive in complex, matrix organizations and collaborate effectively across functions.
- You have a development mindset, with willingness to support and train others.
- Nice to have:
Experience in the mining, construction, or aftermarket services industry; familiarity with Metso equipment; bilingualism (English/French).
