This position focuses on building relationships with Indigenous Nations and community stakeholders while leading engagement initiatives across Four Rivers Co-op’s trading area. You will coordinate events, gather feedback, and develop strategies that address community priorities. Collaboration with leadership will enhance opportunities for meaningful community investment and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop positive relationships with Indigenous Nations and leaders
• Plan and coordinate community events and consultations
• Support gathering feedback on community priorities
• Create reports, newsletters, and engagement materials
• Keep accurate records of community engagement activities
Requirements:
• Certificate or diploma in Indigenous Relations or similar field
• 3-6 years in community engagement or related experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized to manage multiple responsibilities
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence for regional travel
Drive impactful community relations initiatives and enhance engagement at Four Rivers Co-op.
