Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Are you highly organized, proactive, and ready to take on a fast‑paced, administrative role with flexibility and variety? We’re looking for a full‑time Operations Coordinator to join our team in Terrace, BC. This self‑managed role reports to the Branch Management Team and offers a mix of office‑based work, field support, and travel, with the tools and flexibility to help you succeed.

Salary: $55,000 to $60,000
- Schedule up to 2,500 staff hours per week, using strategic solutions to minimize non‑billable overtime (NBOT).
- Travel up to 2 days per week to support clients and security personnel in the field.
- Manage employee information, updates, and communications.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, security professionals, prospective clients, and internal stakeholders (via phone, email, and in person).
- Support and coordinate office operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead recruitment activities from interview through to first shift, including onboarding, training, and certification tracking.
- Collaborate with site teams to address staffing needs, uniforms, certifications, and site supply requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Support the Branch Manager and Head Office with additional tasks and assignments as required.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in operations coordination, scheduling, or a similar administrative role.
- Valid Class5 Driver’s License in British Columbia with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Valid BC Security Worker License is an asset but not required; must obtain within 6 months of hire if not already licensed.
- Willingness and ability to support field‑based operations across the North Coast, including on‑site coordination, client support, and alignment with company standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Diploma or certification in a related field is considered an asset but not required.
- Ability to complete further site‑specific training such as RAP, TSC, MARSEC, etc.
