Position: Canfor Silviculture Supervisor Role

This role is ideal for candidates with a technical diploma or university degree in forestry and two years of relevant experience. You will lead the planning and execution of silviculture activities, ensuring adherence to safety policies and government regulations. Foster team development and engage with various stakeholders for effective communication and ongoing progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage silviculture activities per reporting requirements

• Participate in annual budget development

• Track safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance

• Commit to improvement initiatives and stakeholder relations

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma related to forestry

• At least 2 years of forestry experience

• Registration with FPBC as RFT, FIT, or RPF

• Strong understanding of BC forestry laws and practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and forest industry software
