Lane Closure Technician in Traffic Control

As a Lane Closure Technician, your responsibilities will be crucial to maintaining road safety and regulatory compliance. With the necessary TCP certification and at least six months of experience, you will implement effective traffic control measures in collaboration with other contractors and public service teams. Your contributions will help minimize traffic disruptions during various service events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Traffic Control teams in setup and teardown

• Establish traffic control zones responsibly

• Provide motorists with clear and precise signals

• Monitor changing work zones and adapt as needed

• Report and document health and safety issues

Requirements:

• Six months of BC LCT experience required

• Valid TCP certification from WorkSafeBC

• Clean driving record essential

• Proficient smartphone user with data plan

• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC regulations
