Assistant Track Supervisor

Position: Assistant Track Supervisor at CN
Be at the forefront of track operations with CN as an Assistant Track Supervisor. Oversee repairs, inspections, and support while ensuring safety in a dynamic environment.

The Assistant Track Supervisor leads operations within a designated territory focused on track inspection and maintenance. You will supervise track employees, manage engineering operations, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaboration with the Track Supervisor and communication with senior management are key components in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering operations in compliance with CN’s plan

• Supervise track gangs and operations with clear goals

• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and Transportation Canada guidelines

• Conduct performance monitoring and provide employee coaching

• Respond to emergencies and manage regular inspections

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years in safety compliance roles

• Experience in troubleshooting and unionized workforce supervision

• Budget management experience in similar environments

• High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s preferred

• Valid Driver’s License and safety certifications preferred
