ResponsibilitiesAs the Wireless Sales Supervisor, you champion the customer experience in the wireless department. You help consumers and business customers achieve their goals by sharing knowledge and enthusiasm for the latest wireless technology. You will partner with management to deliver daily financial and non‑financial goals, lead a selling culture, and collaborate across the store.
- Partner with management to identify and achieve short and long‑term goals for the wireless department
- Ensure the team understands the connection between store financial success and the wireless department
- Lead and model selling by cultivating a selling culture with associates to achieve current goals and targets
- Lead and model unlocking the whole store play by engaging with customers in other departments when not engaged at the wireless kiosk
- Effectively resolve customer concerns and escalates to management when appropriate
- Perform follow‑up calls to solicit feedback on sales and promote additional products and services where applicable
- Take opportunities to identify and grow new business opportunities and prospects such as generating referrals and participating in outreach activities
- Work with various market leaders including General Manager, Divisional Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Retail Sales, and Services Manager to target and generate business sales leads and referrals
- Provide management with relevant sales information
- Participate in recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes within the department
- Be accountable for training and coaching associates in all aspects of sales and customer engagement
- Understand and adhere to all asset protection and privacy policies, and coach others to do so
- Completion of post‑secondary education is preferred
- 2+ years of wireless sales experience
- 1+ year in a supervisory role with direct accountability for achieving sales targets is preferred
- Ability to resolve client concerns diplomatically
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills to handle daily responsibilities and serve customers
