Forestry Silviculture Supervisor

Position: Forestry Silviculture Supervisor at Canfor
Lead forestry initiatives as a Silviculture Supervisor with Canfor. Drive program implementation, engage stakeholders, and ensure compliance in British Columbia’s forestry industry.

As a motivated leader, you will oversee the planning and execution of silviculture programs. Your responsibilities include post-harvest assessments and maintaining safety standards. With at least two years of forestry experience, you'll foster relationships and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the Canfor Operating System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage silviculture program activities and reporting requirements

• Develop and track annual budgets for operational success

• Analyze safety, quality, cost, and delivery results

• Uphold compliance with legislation and Canfor's Safety Policy

• Foster a positive environment for professional development

Requirements:

• University degree or technical diploma in forestry

• Minimum 2 years of forestry experience

• RFT, FIT, or RPF registration with FPBC

• Strong communication skills and computer literacy

• Knowledge of BC forestry legislation and policies
