Join Centerra Gold as an Environmental Monitoring Specialist at the Kemess Mine in northern British Columbia. This chance focuses on implementing crucial environmental programs in a camp-based setting with a 14‑day rotation. You will report to the Senior Environmental Coordinator while managing the integrity of data and compliance with environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee environmental monitoring activities and compliance
- Collect field data and manage sampling logistics
- Maintain and calibrate field instruments per SOPs
- Clean and document spills while maintaining logs
- Ensure adherence to water quality QA/QC programs
- Certificate or degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred
- Experience in the resource sector or industrial environments is beneficial
- Robust attention to detail in data handling and reporting
- Basic knowledge of power equipment and tools
- Commitment to environmental safety and monitoring standards
