Water Management Technician at Artemis Gold

Join Artemis Gold as a Water Management Technician to oversee and maintain the water systems at the Blackwater Mine. This role focuses on inspection, monitoring, and compliance in an ecological environment.

Located in central British Columbia, the Blackwater Mine presents an exciting opportunity for a Water Management Technician. Reporting directly to the Water Resources Engineer, your role will include inspecting infrastructure, sampling water quality, and monitoring water levels. The position operates on a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect ponds, pipelines, ditches, and treatment facilities

• Monitor water levels, flows, and pumping rates

• Collect groundwater and surface water samples

• Conduct field measurements for water quality parameters

• Support construction of new water infrastructure

Requirements:

• Diploma in Water Resources or related field

• 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred

• Knowledge of telemetry or SCADA is an asset

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
