Manage complex drilling projects as a Sonic Drilling Technician. Operate advanced equipment while ensuring compliance through robust safety practices.
This role demands 3-5 years of sonic drilling expertise and the mechanical skill set to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. You will monitor equipment performance, conduct various sampling techniques, oversee a drilling crew, and execute necessary record-keeping. Maintaining a well-organized drill site with all equipment is crucial for operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor pressure gauges and drilling returns
• Utilize various sampling techniques as needed
• Troubleshoot and operate diverse drilling equipment
• Supervise adherence to health and safety protocols
• Maintain drill rig equipment and tooling organization
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is essential
• 3-5 years sonic drilling industry experience
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills required
• Successful completion of drug & alcohol tests
• High School Diploma or equivalent needed
