Maximize your carpentry expertise as a Foreman with IDL Projects Inc. Lead site crews in high-quality construction projects, focusing on safety and mentorship for apprentices.
IDL Projects is on the lookout for a skilled Carpenter Foreman to manage carpentry teams on various building projects. You will bring a strong foundation of technical knowledge and experience in formwork and framing. This leadership role demands effective communication and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct carpentry crews, providing leadership and training
• Manage daily work activities and timelines
• Interpret construction drawings to execute projects
• Execute hands-on carpentry tasks as needed
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety on-site
Requirements:
• Journeyman Carpenter Certification (Red Seal preferred)
• 5+ years of carpentry experience, including supervisory roles
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols
• Strong organizational skills
• Adaptable to outdoor work environments
