Heavy Duty Mechanic Position

Falcon Contracting Ltd. is hiring a detail-oriented Heavy Duty Mechanic in Prince George, BC. This role encompasses maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.

We are on the lookout for a motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join the Falcon Contracting team. Ideal candidates will excel in electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and engine overhauls. Support our mission by delivering reliable mechanical services across Western Canada’s construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overhaul and repair fleet vehicles and heavy equipment

• Estimate materials and repair times accurately

• Complete detailed records for repairs and parts

• Collaborate effectively with all departments

• Ensure adherence to safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification mandatory

• 5+ years of relevant experience is a plus

• Technical knowledge across various machinery types

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required

• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing
