* Job Description:

* Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Assisting field and shop mechanics as required
* General clean up of shop, yard and machines
* Aid Mechanics with the removal and installation of guards and steaming
* General clean up of shop, yard, field sites, parts and machines
* Other General Duties as required
** Skills and

Qualifications:

*** Class 5 Drivers License with no restrictions, successful drivers abstract required
* Completion of a pre-apprenticeship program is an asset
* Safety conscious self-starter able to follow directions, work under the direction of a J/Field Service person and possess the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a safe team environment
* Experience working within a heavy equipment maintenance environment, basic equipment knowledge, along with preventative maintenance experience would be considered assets
** Important Details:
*** This position is located at Artemis Blackwater Mine
* 14x14 Continuous Shift Rotation
* Marshalling Point is Prince George
* A condition of employment includes the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
** Union Membership:
** This is a unionized position.  Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire.  Terms of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
