Location: Vanderhoof

Join Four Rivers Co-op as an Agro Equipment Mechanic in Vanderhoof, BC, where your mechanical talents support critical agricultural operations. This position involves troubleshooting and maintaining heavy-duty machinery.

Reporting to the Agro Manager, you’ll focus on diagnosing and repairing Agro equipment and petroleum trucks. You will support safety compliance, manage inventory, and ensure a tidy workspace. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and can handle emergency repairs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair Agro and petroleum machinery

• Support safety compliance and environmental checks

• Manage inventory for repair parts and tools

• Transport equipment and tools within the shop

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

Requirements:

• Completion of a Heavy-Duty Transport Mechanic Program preferred

• Clean Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 3 or 1 is a plus

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

• Experience with emergency repairs in diverse settings

• Familiarity with the Agro industry is an asset
