Position: Gas Service Technician with FortisBC

In this role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of gas-burning equipment, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot safety issues in gas equipment

• Certify and install gas systems to ensure compliance

• Perform emergency response actions effectively

• Maintain service reports and document interactions

• Educate customers about gas usage and safety
Requirements:

• Requirement:
High school diploma with a Gas “B” Ticket

• Strong analytical and communication abilities

• Demonstrated compliance with safety standards

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Class 5 driver’s license and physical capability
