Position: Heavy Duty Mechanic at CN

This role involves performing both minor and major repairs on various vehicles, including light trucks and trailers. You'll use electric and oxy-acetylene welding equipment while working in both the shop and field as needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and servicing on all types of vehicles

• Use welding equipment and repair tools for repairs

• Record detailed maintenance activities accurately

• Work both in-shop and in the field as assigned

• Adapt to variable shifts based on vehicle availability

Requirements:

• Valid Provincial Journeyman Certificate required

• Minimum five years' experience in heavy duty repairs

• Pass Mechanic “A” test successfully

• Ability to operate various vehicles and equipment

• Own basic hand tools for fleet equipment servicing
