Voltage Journeyperson Electrician

Position: High-Voltage Journeyperson Electrician Role
Rising Edge Group hires a High-Voltage Journeyperson Electrician to enhance electrical solutions in critical infrastructure projects across British Columbia. This senior role emphasizes technical skill and leadership.

In this position, you will conduct maintenance and installation of high-voltage equipment in substations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards while mentoring apprentices and conducting safety inspections. A solid background in high-voltage work is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance of electrical systems up to 500kV

• Lead training sessions for Electrical Apprentices

• Inspect and test high-voltage equipment for faults

• Manage safety compliance in electrical work

• Operate and oversee construction machinery

Requirements:

• Recognized Journeyperson Electrician Certificate

• At least 5 years as an Electrician, with substation experience

• Knowledgeable of Canadian Electrical Code and regulations

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with good standing

• Must be willing to travel and work in various conditions
