Pipelayer

Falcon Contracting Ltd. and Falcon Camp Services Inc. are a locally owned and operated group of companies based in Prince George, BC. We are a diverse organization specializing incivil construction andturn-key camp catering.

We are looking for Experienced Commercial/Domestic Pipe Layer to join the team in our Prince George, BC head office.

• Installing underground utilities to designed grades and applicable construction standards including storm, water, and sewer mains + services.
• Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisors.
• Pre-locating existing utilities and working with heavy equipment to ensure that existing utilities are exposed without contact.
• Ability to locate and repair existing utilities.
• Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.
• Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Ensure that all installed materials are properly bedded.
• Notifying the supervisor of any installation conflicts immediately.
• Willing to assist on other tasks with hands-on work when needed.

• 5+ years experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reading plans and using laser levels required.
• Experience in operating packers and hand tools required.
• Equipment operating experience considered an asset.
• Must have Construction Safety Training System (CSTS
  2020) Certification
• Must have Ground disturbance level 2.
• Must have confined space certification.
• Must have a class 5 drivers license with a clean current drivers abstract.
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated dedication and reliability.
• Must be willing to work out of town.
