Position: Pipelayer for Underground Utilities Installation

This role requires you to install storm, water, and sewer mains, while you will also engage in pre-locating utilities and utilizing heavy equipment. Your commitment to safe excavations will ensure that installations are of high quality. You will play a major role in successfully executing our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install utilities to specified construction standards

• Pre-locate existing utilities to prevent damage

• Operate excavators for trench grade and bedding depths

• Conduct installations for Hydro, Telus, and Shaw

• Bolting fittings and valves to manufacturer's specifications

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Knowledge of safe excavation practices

• Familiarity with ground disturbance issues

• Ability to interpret civil plans accurately
