Be a vital part of Artemis Gold's team as a Dewatering Systems Operator at the Blackwater Mine site. Utilize your skills in pump operation and site monitoring to ensure effective mining operations.

Artemis Gold is looking for skilled Equipment Operators with hands-on dewatering experience in a fixed-term contract role. Applicants should have between 1-3 years in open pit hard-rock mining and possess expertise in operating and maintaining various dewatering systems.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while enhancing operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment for dewatering activities

• Oversee installation and monitoring of pit dewatering infrastructure

• Manage routine maintenance and coordinate repairs

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Assist site preparation and excavation tasks

Requirements:

• Hands-on dewatering experience in hard-rock mining

• Experience with diesel and electric pumps

• Knowledge of pit drainage design and layflat hoses

• Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs

• Valid driver's license preferred
