We seek an experienced Technician Lead with hands-on expertise in fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing. You will play a pivotal role in managing a team, overseeing fiber cleaning, inspection, and ensuring standards for high-performance compute environments. This is a fully onsite role responsible for complex cabling infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians in cabling tasks

• Oversee fiber cleaning and inspection procedures

• Prioritize urgent cleaning/scoping requests efficiently

• Plan and execute infrastructure builds for data centers

• Maintain accurate cable and port mapping documentation

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in telecommunications or related field

• 5+ years of experience in fiber optic systems

• Proficiency in fiber testing and inspection tools

• Strong communication skills for teamwork

• Ability to troubleshoot physical layer issues
