Position: Heavy Duty Mechanic at CN

This role involves performing thorough inspections, major repairs, overhauls, and servicing on Maintenance of Way equipment. Be prepared for a field environment, operating from a service truck with substantial travel commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform major/minor repairs on heavy-duty mechanics

• Inspect and maintain equipment per regulations

• Diagnose diesel engine issues and repair

• Operate service truck per safety policies

• Prepare work reports and maintain project records

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Red Seal in Heavy Duty Mechanic or similar

• Valid driver’s license essential

• Basic diesel mechanics knowledge needed

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
