IRATA Certified Journeyperson Welder Position

Tacten requires skilled welders who are detail-oriented and safety-driven for their Bulkley-Nechako operations. Actively participate in fabricating and welding with various techniques while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Candidates must adapt to a dynamic work schedule, including day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out welding processes using SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW

• Create high-quality welds in multiple positions as required

• Prepare and handle materials, ensuring proper fitting

• Calibrate welding equipment for accurate operations

• Conduct non-destructive testing on completed welds

Requirements:

• Journeyman Welder Certification is mandatory

• Essential ABSA B-Pressure Welder Certification

• CWB-SMAW certification for all positions

• Must possess IRATA Level 1 Certificate
