All Service Drilling is looking for three Rig Mechanics to join their growing company at their location in Prince George, BC. You will work with a solid team in an industry that is fast paced, interesting and cutting edge! Job Duties:
  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, according to layout plans using hand and power tools
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic drill rigs (Atlas Copco Sanvic, etc) including electrical systems, diesel engines, and associated parts.
  • Inspect and test drill units, diesel compressors, high pressure water pumps, diagnose faults and malfunctions, repair and replace mechanical units.
  • Service and repair light duty vehicles including trucks (Toyota), telehandlers and forklifts.
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
  • Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work
  • Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
