Assemble power equipment and support vessel service as a Shop Assistant in Prince Rupert, B.C., with training provided. Use tools carefully while maintaining shop standards.
Sea-Sport Outboard Marina Ltd. seeks a Shop Assistant for hands-on marine and industrial service work. You will assemble power equipment, maintain tools and documentation, and assist with customer vessels and equipment. The position reports to the Shop Supervisor and includes practical on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:- Put together power equipment according to instructions
- Use an industrial pressure washer safely
- Maintain equipment, shop space, tools, and documentation
- Follow safety and operating procedures
- Work off-site on customer vessels and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and procedural accuracy
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds safely
- Comfort working independently or within a team
Support Sea-Sport Outboard Marina Ltd. customers through careful equipment assembly, safe shop work, and dependable vessel assistance.
