Construction Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, support skilled trades, and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This role offers opportunities to develop a broad range of construction skills and gain valuable hands‑on experience in the industry.

• Assist with the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including material handling and organization
• Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other trades by providing necessary tools and materials
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks as directed
• Assist with installation of flooring, tile laying, cabinetry, and other finishing work
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
• Support demolition, restoration, or renovation activities as needed
• Perform caulking, painting preparation, or plumbing tasks under supervision
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols

• Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; on‑the‑job training will be provided
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus
• Familiarity with carpentry, masonry, welding, electrical work, or plumbing enhances candidacy
• Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery is advantageous
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Basic understanding of construction safety standards and protocols

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
