Join the team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital as a dedicated Maintenance Worker with Northern Health. This Monday to Friday role focuses on trades responsibilities like electrical work, plumbing, and painting.

As a Maintenance Worker, you will perform trades tasks while adhering to applicable safety codes. Under the supervision of management, you might also take on supervisory duties for other maintenance staff. The position requires a commitment to on-call responsibilities within a shared rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute trades duties in electrical, plumbing, and painting

• Supervise designated maintenance staff as needed

• Maintain compliance with relevant codes and regulations

• Assume on-call duties as part of a rotation

• Manage and organize maintenance work assignments

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education along with four years' relevant experience

• Class 5 BC Driver’s License required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Physical capability to meet job demands

• Ability to effectively operate related maintenance equipment
