SUMMARY DESCRIPTIONThe Accountant position will be primarily responsible for performing general ledger accounting tasks, as assigned. This position will assume a broad range of general accounting duties during the month end close, including preparation of monthly journal entries and completion of account reconciliations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Primary responsibilities are to:
- Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations as assigned.
- Run various monthly reports used to reconcile or analyze general ledger account balances.
- Assist in the preparation of account analyses for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Analyze and explain fluctuations and trends in balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Work with internal and external auditors to provide supporting documentation and answer audit inquiries.
- Communicate with other cross functional teams including IT, Shared Services A/R and A/P, Tax, FP&A, Treasury and Consolidations.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. - Certifications:
None required, CPA and/or MBA a plus. - Experience:
0-3 years of corporate and/or public accounting experience. - Experience with ORACLE ERP and/or Onestream systems a plus.
- Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and resolve problems.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data.
- Knowledge of personal computer databases and spreadsheets.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a high performing team, as needed.
This role is hybrid between Princeton, NJ and remote. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Salary Pay Range$71,300.00 - $97,750.00 USD Salary
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
