Job Description
This is a Field Support Technician role focusing on manufacturing OT equipment and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of manufacturing equipment that connects to the network.
- Handle desktop support for 350 users across 4 locations (including 2 remote support sites).
- Troubleshoot print servers and Zebra scanners controlled by MDM.
- Process Service Now tickets and coordinate with the appropriate teams.
- Maintain an understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, LAN segmentation, and IP addressing (without actual configuration).
- Support the deployment of new hires and machine build pieces.
- Ensure personal protective equipment (steel‑toe shoes or boots) is worn at all times.
- Maintain a dynamic, problem‑solving attitude and take initiative to route issues to the correct team.
Qualifications:
- At least a few years of experience in a technical support role.
- Manufacturing or operational technology background preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Windows desktops, Windows 11, and troubleshooting best practices.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Net+ certification is advantageous.
Additional skills and qualifications:
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to work during the 6 AM – 5 PM shift, with occasional overlap into the second shift starting at 4 PM.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Physical ability to perform fieldwork in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits:
