Join Corteva as a Bilingual Team Lead where you'll play a vital role in guiding a diverse sorting team during the harvest! You'll maintain workplace organization, attendance, and workflow while ensuring all safety and quality protocols are met. Must be fluent in both Spanish and English.
DescriptionThe Bilingual Team Lead will monitor and track attendance at shift start; communicate absences to Corteva office staff. Assist staff in managing employee breaks and workflow in sorting area. Work as a Sorter when not performing Team Lead tasks: remove nonconforming materials (husks/stalks/mold, rogues, foreign matter, etc.); maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Adhere to and promote PPE and safety guidelines.
Communicate clearly with team members in both English and Spanish. Regular physical tasks: standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, stooping, and active listening/speaking in a noisy environment.
- Bilingual:
Must be fluent in both Spanish and English. - Computer
Skills:
Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, email, web browsing). - Must complete an allergen questionnaire before beginning the assignment.
- All required clearances must be obtained before start date.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Able to handle physically demanding work and exposure to elevated noise and moving conveyors.
- Resume and in-person interview required.
- Closed-toe shoes required (not necessarily steel-toe).
- Long pants and shirts with sleeves that cover torso and shoulders.
- PPE provided (gloves, safety glasses).
- $18.25/hr starting wage
- $0.75/hr shift differential for hours worked on 2nd shift
- $50 weekly bonus for perfect attendance
