** CNC Operations:*
* + Set up and operate advanced CNC functions following detailed instructions and established procedures on CNC equipment to cut, punch, form, drill, pulse, spin, mill and stamp, to produce metal parts and components per design and drawing specifications required for subassemblies or finished products.

+ Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, or work instructions to machine products.

+ Independently set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machinery.

+ Perform advanced troubleshooting and minor repairs.

+ Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.

+ May use additional tools (e.g. drills, presses, soldering equipment, etc.) with proper setup and use.

+ Assist in machine changeovers and tooling setups.

+ Machining parts for subassemblies or moderately complex components as part of a larger product.

+ Machining intricate or precision components requiring advanced skills or techniques.

+ Diagnose and resolve machining issues, including equipment malfunctions or non-conforming parts, using established procedures.

+ Track and document production metrics, such as completed units or defects.

+ Supporting Lean Manufacturing practices, such as identifying and eliminating waste in the machining process.

+ Other duties as assigned.

** Quality Assurance:*
* + Inspect products for defects and functionality to quality standards.

+ Conduct routine quality checks using measurement tools (e.g., rulers, tape measures, calipers, micrometers) to verify product quality, functionality, and ensure parts meet specifications.

+ Perform advanced quality assurance checks, such as using gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), or other specialized tools.

+ Identify and segregate defective parts for review.

+ Document and report non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

** Safety Compliance:*
* + Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

+ Perform basic equipment checks (e.g., ensuring tools are operational).

+ Maintain awareness and report to leaders' potential safety hazards.

+  
** Collaboration and Communication:*
* + Work closely with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to address challenges and improve processes.

+ Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates.

+ Provide informal guidance or mentoring to less experienced team members, including demonstrating proper machining processes and techniques.

+ Basic computer literacy, including data entry, basic knowledge of ERP systems, and ability to use barcode scanners.
