* DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

** Material Movement:*
* + Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility to support production schedules and customer orders.

+ Follow detailed instruction and established procedures.

+ Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and ensure equipment is in good working order.

+ Load and unload material from trucks and containers.

+ Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and reconciling of discrepancies.

+ Enter inventory transactions accurately into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices.

+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles.

+ Report inventory discrepancies to supervisors.

+ Other duties as assigned.

** Quality Assurance:*
* + Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues.

+ Assist with maintaining accurate inventory and material movement documentation.

+ Report issues and participate in root cause analysis for material discrepancies.

** Safety Compliance:*
* + Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting technique.

+ Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas where material is stored and moved out on the production floor.

+ Maintain awareness and report to leaders' potential safety hazards.

** Collaboration and Communication:*
* + Work closely with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to address challenges and improve processes.

+ Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates.

** Workspace Maintenance:*
* + Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

+ Store tools and equipment properly.

** Flexibility and Adaptability:*
* + Work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
