Material Specialist – Responsible for managing material movement, inventory control, and quality assurance to support production schedules and customer orders.

• Material Movement: Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility; operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment; load and unload material from trucks and containers; perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies; enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies; maintain accurate inventory and movement documentation; participate in root‑cause analysis.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, maintain clean and organized work areas, and report safety hazards.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel; communicate orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates.
• Workspace Maintenance: Keep workspace clean, organized, and tools stored properly.
• Adapt to overtime, cross‑training, and new processes as needed.

• Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of material handling and inventory experience.
• Familiarity with material handling and inventory control.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), lifting techniques, quality review, problem‑solving, safety awareness, teamwork, and adaptability.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of material movement and inventory experience; forklift operations.

• Handle materials and parts; perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping.
• Stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.

• Base hourly range: $18.50‑$28.85 (actual pay based on skills and experience).
