Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Construction Coordinator for a temporary assignment in Princeton, Indiana.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $40 – $50 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Responsible for equipment installation and modification projects from scope creation to contract completion.
  • Lead initial contract negotiations with installation contractors and negotiate field orders as they arise during the contract.
  • Typical projects include installation of equipment such as robot/jig machines, cells, transfer systems and conveyors, cooling water, exhaust systems, HVAC, lighting, sealer systems, utility distribution, and hoists.
  • May create machine specs and manage overall project work, including machine vendor and contractors for process equipment like transfer systems, conveyors, overhead rail systems, AGVs.
  • Manage general contractors and subcontractors, inspection and testing agencies, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate the activities of all organizations to achieve project success—general contractors, subcontractors, trucking and shipping companies, inspection and testing agencies, machine vendors, TMNA process engineers, TMNA Seibi, TMNA management, NAMC management.
  • Administer construction contracts and conduct onsite inspections to monitor plan compliance.
  • Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedule in compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Report project status to TMNA management, including safety compliance, schedule status, budget updates, and standards compliance.
  • Document reflections of each project upon completion.
  • Support home‑based work in Princeton, Indiana, with mandatory dispatch to other North American facilities if needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment throughout all activities.
  • Work weekends, holidays, and off‑shifts as needed during non‑production times.
Qualifications / What You Bring (Must Haves)
  • Experience in the construction trades with a strong background in construction project management.
  • Experience creating machine specs and some level of equipment procurement.
  • Strong skills to work around unplanned problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD to manipulate and print drawings.
  • Technical school education or equivalent experience.
  • Safety management experience, problem‑solving, time management, and technical communication skills.
Added Bonus If You Have (Preferred)
  • Previous automotive safety or construction experience.
  • Electrical background.
