Our client, a growing organization in the Princeton, NJ area
, is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join its collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys a diverse role supporting expense management, accounts payable, purchasing, corporate credit cards, and general finance operations
.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across departments to resolve issues and keep financial processes running smoothly.
What You’ll Do- Process invoices and help ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
- Support expense management
, including auditing, accruals, and employee inquiries - Monitor and respond to questions related to expenses and expense reporting
- Support the Purchase Order process
, including creation and maintenance - Assist with corporate credit card administration
, including issuance, maintenance, and resolving discrepancies - Perform account reconciliations and assist with general accounting and finance activities
- Research and resolve financial and expense-related issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Concur is required
- Experience with D365 / Business Central (B365) is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and revenue recognition
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and teams across an organization
- Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience is a plus
- Competitive $30–$40/hour compensation
