Production Worker

Hire Level is seeking Production Associates located in Princeton, IN
. This temporary to hire position offers medical and dental insurance starting at $5 after hire, with pay increases every three months.

Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. 1: 6:30 am – 3:15 pm, 2: 2:40 pm – 11:10 pm, 3: 10:30 pm – 7:10 am, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime.

Compensation: $14.30 – $15.20 per hour.

• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report unsafe conditions or mechanical safety problems to Team Leader, Senior Team Leader, or Department Specialist.
• Understand the product, its function, and potential defects that could affect quality.
• Perform color/quality visual inspections.
• Keep accurate documentation during the production run.
• Inspect parts during the production run and in product containers throughout the shift.
• Properly package and handle the production per the assigned manufacturing specification.
• Accurately record scrap and place the scrap in the proper containers by working station.
• Assist in machine startups and shutdowns to minimize downtime.
• Keep the workstation clean and neat at all times using 5S practices.
• Comply with company and safety guidelines.
• Follow company procedure and work instructions.
• Notify Team Leader of any issues or defects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and other policies.
• Ability to follow leadership direction.
• Organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop frequently.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand fluent English.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
