Precision Assembler
The Precision Assembler is responsible for the accurate assembly of electric motor components in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work with small parts and tight tolerances, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical motors and subassemblies using detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Perform precision mechanical and electrical assembly of components such as rotors, stators, shafts, bearings, windings and housings
- Use hand tools, torque tools, presses, gauges, and fixtures to complete assembly tasks
- Verify parts, orientation, and tolerances to ensure proper motor function
- Perform in-process inspections and final checks to ensure assemblies meet quality standards
- Identify and report defects, nonconforming parts, or process issues
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation (6S standards)
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
