We are looking for PRN Nurse Practitioners to support our industrial division with pre-hire and employee medical testing and care onsite for a large automotive manufacturing facility. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!
What will you be doing in this role?- Facilitating and performing new hire physicals
- Performing musculoskeletal exams and other work-related exams
- Providing guidance to other medical staff (medical assistants) to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction
- Assessing and managing the health conditions of patients designated by scope of practice, level of training, and State/Federal rules and regulations
- Maintain all documentation, procedures, and records to ensure compliance

Ourideal candidate will have:
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with Board Certification
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in state of practice location
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
- Previous occupational health experience is a plus
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision - Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
