Job Overview:

The clinical assistant is responsible for history taking and preparation of patients from newborns to the elderly, for examination as well as assisting with the exam, documenting, and/or procedure in the office as requested by the provider. Will perform duties consistent with the needs of the communities served, in a manner that reflects the physical, psychological, and spiritual healing ministry of Christ.

Heart and Vascular-Gibson RN/LPN performs duties including, but not limited to, the following:

-rooming patients for the cardiology providers-including weight, vital signs, health history

-preparing sample medications for patients

-completing cardiac clearances or medication holds to send to the cardiology providers for signature

-EKGs as requested by the providers

-Placement of heart monitors as requested by the providers

-Completing in basket tasks

Position will cover Heart and Vascular Gibson providers, as well as providers from the Heart Group at the Gibson location. Position has an opportunity for continued growth.

Floating to additional offices may be a requirement of this role.

Qualifications:

Education-RN:

Must have successfully completed an accredited Registered Nurse program, with current registration in Indiana required, one year of experience in a physician office/outpatient clinic. CPR provider-C required

Education-LPN:

Must have successfully completed an accredited license practical nurse training program with current registration in Indiana required. CPR provider-C required
