Quality Manager

This role is onsite in Princeton, Indiana.

Purpose:

Develop and lead the Quality organization to efficiently meet all plant KPI objectives through use of The EPIQ Way.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and assure overall strategy/plan for the Quality Department aligned to the plant KPI requirements.
  • Champion quality programs that exceed the customer's requirement.
  • Assess and develop an ongoing training program to further the skill levels of the Quality Department.
  • Develop and initiate an ongoing program to continuously improve both the plant's quality output and supplier quality input. Address any issues of nonconforming product and develop countermeasures to correct the situation. Drive continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
  • Oversee an efficient and effective program to manage the abnormal inventory (ex. NCP).
  • Provide overall leadership for the plant's Quality Control System, including QMS documentation control.
  • Serve as the EMS Coordinator for the facility.
  • Serve as the primary contact and lead for new product and process quality assurance
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge

Skills and Abilities

Management

Experience:

Industrial or manufacturing experience of at least 5 years in the quality arena with TS 16949 training. Supervisory experience of at least 5 years. Previous experience with EMS preferred. Experience in project management preferred.

Physical Demands:
Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of AIAG quality core tools (SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP & FMEA). Focus on customer satisfaction. Attention to detail.

Analytical Ability:
Statistical process control skills preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 14001 and TS 16949. Experience in planning and implementing internal quality systems.

Communication Ability:
Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.

Computer

Skills:

Proficiency with MS Office products required, primarily Excel and Powerpoint.

Education and

Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Quality or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
